Young Adults

Young Adults (millennials -mid 20’s to 40) will find a welcoming place at Pleasant Grove Church. Today’s millennials are seeking a place to belong; a place to use their gifts and talents; a place where they can serve.
If these are what you seek, you have found your church home. PGC will help you understand how to be a man or woman of God who will be able to stand up against the many challenges you face. You will share in learning unadulterated Biblical truths from spiritual leaders who are authentic, transparent and truly concerned about you as a child of God.

Children's Ministry
Expressing the love of Jesus through fun, interactive and caring children's ministries that promote growth and well-being.
This cutting-edge ministry attracts young people and their families and encourages them to be faithful disciples, with a passion for meeting the needs of their community. PGC strives to prepare young people to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ by influencing their spiritual and social development through worship services and empowerment programs.
Our Children and Youth Ministry exists to provide a framework for ministering to the spiritual, developmental, and social needs of the children and youth of PGC and of our community. This ministry encompasses the Nursery, GroveKids, and GroveTeens. We provide a Christian atmosphere to encourage sound Biblical teaching and spiritual development.
Nursery
The Nursery ministry team serves infants and toddlers, from newborn to five years of age during morning Worship. We provide a safe, caring, loving, and learning environment for the children. Also, our dedicated volunteers focus on age-appropriate Biblical teaching.
GroveKids
A dynamic Biblical learning experience for children ages 6-8 and 9-12 during the 9:45 AM Worship Service on 2nd and 4th Sundays each month. Children participate in Bible lessons enhanced through crafts, games, and kinesthetic learning.
GroveTeens
An exciting and engaging study of God’s Word during the 9:45 AM Worship Service on 2nd and 4th Sundays each month; this study is designed for teens ages 13 thru 17. Teens participate in hands-on activities and lively discussions about God’s plans for their lives.
The Evangelism Ministry strives to share the Word of God with all people through various means of communication. The Great Commission proclaims the gospel and salvation of Jesus Christ to all mankind. We want the lost to be found and those who are saved to be convicted and transformed to greater works.
Evangelism Ministry
Disciples of Jesus Christ are called to share His message of hope, love, and salvation; leading others to a life-transforming personal relationship with Him by the power of His Holy Spirit. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, calls us to share His promise of salvation to anyone who accepts him as their Lord and Savior.
The Evangelism Ministry works hand-in-hand with the Outreach Ministry to answer God’s call to reach and touch the lives of people, who may not know about the Love of God for them, and for the fact he has given his only begotten Son to save humanity from eternal damnation.
Worship Ministry
We are thankful God has revealed to us that worship is our priority. Therefore, we strive to serve God in excellence during every worship experience. The goal of the Worship Ministry is to edify the body of Christ. Our goal is to provide our parishioners and guests with a warm, inviting, and lively spirit-filled atmosphere. This goal begins at the door with the greeters, when the congregants and visitors arrive, and continues throughout the Service.
Our Worship Ministry provides several opportunities for all ages in our congregation to experience the presence and power of Almighty God! Each week we prayerfully prepare all elements of worship through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Authentic Worship is the response of grateful and humble people to the living God where submission, sacrificial service, praise, profession, testimony, and gratitude are freely expressed in innumerable ways. This is a much richer concept than mere corporate singing and praise once each week for 20 minutes; an event that could occur without any actual worship going on at all.

Deacon Ministry
The Deacon Ministry, under the leadership of the Pastor, supports the spiritual needs of the Church Body. In partnership with the Pastor, the deacons ensure the needs of the families of the church are met. Deacons at PGC are servants of the church and helpers to our pastor with the care of all disciples. This ministry is organized to model Christ, systematically care for all church families and individuals, and promote peace in all church ministries.
Deacons are the spiritual leaders in the life of our church. A deacon has a solid foundation in the Christian faith. This person will often give advice and comfort other people (see Hebrews 5:2-14). This is the work of a deacon as they minister to God’s people. The advice and comfort the deacon gives must be biblical, doctrinally, correct, and wise in practice.

The Women’s Ministry focuses on bringing women together to deepen their faith, enhance fellowship, and strengthen friendships.
This Connection Group provides a Christian atmosphere to encourage Biblical learning for life applications, spiritual, growth and leadership development.
Men's Ministry
Connection Group
Pleasant Grove Church
This is a connection group and Bible Study class and is committed to providing men the resources to grow in Christ. This is the place to find other men who are interested in celebrating the fellowship God intends for us, and men who live and experience the same challenges of being a man in today's busy world.
It is specifically designed and tailored for men looking to become the husbands, fathers, brothers, and friends God intended for us to be.
Pleasant Grove hosts conferences, activities and social get-togethers throughout the year, that are specifically designed for men and women. See our upcoming events for opportunities to get involved and connect.
Outreach Ministry
The Outreach Ministry expands the services of the church into the community based on the needs and opportunities to serve, locally and internationally. The ministry proclaims and demonstrates the love of God to the world while simultaneously working to expand the Kingdom.
MINISTRY TEAMS
Health & Wellness
The Health & Wellness ministry team will actively inform the church body on pertinent health issues. They will encourage and inspire PGC disciples to make healthy living a priority. Each month they will publish “To Your Better Health” as a means to promote health. This team will also ensure that PGC is informed of community health fairs, activities, workshops, and symposia that can help disciples gain knowledge and become promoters of good health.
Kitchen
Nourishing others with physical food from our kitchen opens to us the opportunity to nourish them spiritually as well. This team will provide oversight and direction for the implementation of our participation as a sponsor in the Summer Food Program. They will ensure that all federal, state and local statues and guidelines are met as we operate a commercial kitchen.
