Greetings From Pleasant Grove Church! |
Grace be
unto you, and peace, from God our
Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ,
God’s divine presence has spiritually
charged the atmosphere of our church and
I am filled with joy! I am so thankful
for this season of service, stewardship
and sharing of the “Gospel” of Jesus
Christ! Our lives have been enriched as
we have been intentional in serving
those in need of a loving touch in the
name of our Lord!
The Great Commission is an incredibly
powerful charge to Christians and
demands faith in Jesus Christ who is
very clear about His authority in the
world. As we continue to embrace the
“Great Commission” we will seek
opportunities within our community to
share the love of Jesus.
In 2013 our church will focus on three
goals: To promote biblical principles
and teachings for the advancement of
God’s Kingdom; to expand our resources
to share the gospel locally and
globally; and to encourage, equip, and
empower strong healthy families. Our 2013
theme, “Go, Fearless in Christ”,
requires us to be focused in prayer,
persistent in our faith and fearless
while going. The Apostle Paul reminds us
that God has not given us the spirit of
fear; but of power, and of love, and a
sound mind. Therefore, we must go in the
power of Almighty God! |

Our Ministries |
|
|
We
encourage all disciples to actively
participate in the ministries of PGC. We
are committed to equipping all disciples
so that they will be empowered by the
Holy Spirit as we labor together to
impact our communities, transform the
world and build the Kingdom of God. All
believers are ministers, since we are
all called to minister and to follow
Christ according to our God given
spiritual gifts. Christ has given us a
biblical model to reach the lost and
develop disciples. |

Our Missions |
|
|
The
Missions Ministries serves as the outreach
ministry, proclaiming and demonstrating
the Kingdom of God to the world. It
gives disciples an opportunity to serve
the needs of our neighbors, inside and
out-side the church. We serve a number
of missions locally and abroad such as
The Ronald McDonald House, The American
Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity and we
are actively serving missions in Uganda
where we are currently establishing new
fresh water wells thought out the
region. |

Our
Children and Youth Ministry |
|
|
The
Children and Youth Ministry primary
focus is on relevant issues directly
affecting young people. This ministry
provides loving and supportive adults to
mentor and spiritually guide young
people as they transition into young
adults. The Children and Youth Ministry
provides an atmosphere to encourage
biblical learning for life application
and leadership. One of the components of
this ministry is the planning and
hosting of family activities. |
