Psalm 91 is one of the most
comforting chapters in the Bible. It describes the security and
safety believers can experience through abiding in the presence of
almighty God. As we start the New Year, I ask you to reflect on this
psalm with special focus on verses one and two.
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the
shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God,
in whom I trust. Psalm 91: 1-2
God has blessed us to enter into a new year filled with numerous
possibilities and opportunities to encourage, equip and empower his
people. This year we celebrate 145 years of kingdom building!
I hope you are excited about the plans God has in store for us as we
explore new kingdom strategies for kingdom growth. We welcome your
support of our ministries and offer many volunteer opportunities,
specifically with our Family Life, Evangelism and Worship
ministries. If you really want a refreshing assignment, talk with
Minister Tina France about openings with children and youth. Please
look at this New Year as a new season for service and spiritual
growth. |
We have so much to be thankful for as we reflect on all of the
wonderful things God has done for us. Please continue to pray that
God will bless our national leaders, military personnel, church
families, extended families and friends around the world.
Love and Blessings, Pastor Classy Preston |
