Minister Tina France,
the younger of two children, was born in 1977 in
Fayetteville, North Carolina. She was baptized at New
Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC
and served in the youth choir, as a junior usher and a
member of the Young People’s Christian League.
Minister France
received her early childhood education from the
Cumberland County Public School System. After a series
of life altering events and realizing her call to preach
the gospel, Min. Tina has nearly completed requirements
toward obtaining a Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies
from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
It was during her freshman year in college when Min.
Tina met the love of her life, Bruce France. The two
were married and their union has been blessed with three
children. Her husband, Bruce, is also a member of
Pleasant Grove church where he serves as a trustee and
in the Men’s Fellowship.
Professionally,
Min. France works in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech
industry. In this field, she has worked on several
projects for major pharmaceutical companies endeavoring
to bring new medicines to market. Currently, Min. France
works as a member of the Oncology team at i3 Statprobe .
Minister France
has been a member of Pleasant Grove Church for nearly 4
years. In 2007, she was appointed as the Director of
PowerHouse Children’s Church. She officially answered
her call to ministry and was licensed into the gospel
ministry on October 28, 2007. Currently, Min. France
serves as the Youth Pastor at Pleasant Grove Church and
is Co-Chair of the Family Life Ministry with emphasis on
the spiritual development of children and youth.
Min. France loves
the Lord and her heart’s desire is to serve God and His
people with her whole heart, mind, body and soul. She
lives by the words of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all
things through Christ who strengthens me” and seeks to
tell all who will listen of the God who has forever
changed her life by His miraculous power. |
