Worship Ministry - The
Worship Ministry facilitates worship through prayer, sound
theologically biblically grounded preaching, teaching and
singing. The ministry prayerfully coordinates meaningful
worship with all components of the church body. |

Evangelism Ministry -
Martin Luther, founder of the Protestant Reformation,
described Evangelism as “One beggar telling another beggar
where to find food.” We are the beggars and Jesus is the
food. This image reminds us of our need for humility as we
are involved in Evangelism. We all desperately need Jesus
and God’s love for people is universal and impartial. Let us
keep this perspective as we reach out to those who are
without Christ. |

Family Life Ministry - It
is our responsibility as the Church to “make disciples.” We
are to go after the lost at any cost, baptizing them, and
then teaching them to obey everything that Jesus has taught
us. As a family of believers in Christ Jesus, we are
responsible to help one another mature in the faith and
represent Him in the world. The Family Life ministry will
aim to address the needs of families in our congregation and
the surrounding communities for spiritual growth. We
believe, together we can impact and transform our local
communities and the world for the building of God’s Kingdom.

Deacon
Ministry - Deacons at Pleasant Grove Church are servants
of the church and helpers to our pastor in the care for all
family disciples. The Deacon Ministry is organized to
systematically care for all families, model Christ and
promote peace in all church ministries. The following
Servant roles are here to prayerfully serve you and your
family. |

Trustee Ministry
- The Trustees Ministry focuses on facilities management,
grounds care, and legal affairs of our church. Church
properties and the comfort of our sanctuary and facilities
are primary concern to this ministry. Along with our pastor,
the trustees assure that all church properties are well
maintained and utilized.

Finance Ministry
- The Finance Ministry has overall oversight of church
financial resources. In consultation with our pastor this
ministry assists in the development and design of the
church’s annual budget, strategic plan and long range
financial strategy. |
