Nursing Home/Elder Care:
Minister Ron Lewis and disciples of Pleasant Grove Church
visit two local nursing homes each week, providing a
mini-service to the residents. The reading of God's Word,
singing and sharing the Good News brings great joy to those
we are unable to attend services outside their living
quarters. Times and locations are posted on the Church
calendar and all are welcome to join in the investment of an
hour each Saturday morning or afternoon.
Community Outreach: The
Evangelism Ministry coordinates specific outreach
opportunities in collaboration with other organizations and
churches such as clothing, food, school supplies, or
transportation needs throughout the community. The Church is
used by a local AA chapter and homeowner's associations in
the neighborhood as we desire that our facility which was
God-given be utilized to its highest and best use. |
